WARRANTY POLICY

OVERALL EYEWEAR WARRANTY POLICY

Oakley eyewear products are warranted for two years from the date of purchase against manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship. Warranty is only valid with a proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer that clearly shows the purchase date.

WHAT IS COVERED BY WARRANTY (examples):

  • Delamination and/or peeling of sun lens coating

  • Bubbles or imperfections in lens coating

  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating

  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY (examples):

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches or pit marks on sun lenses)

  • Any damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of product

  • Damage caused by chemicals (hair spray, cologne, window cleaner, alcohol, etc.)

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs Loss of eyewear

  • Installation of non-Oakley lenses

PRESCRIPTION EYEWEAR WARRANTY POLICY

All Oakley eyewear is warranted against breakage due to material or workmanship defect for two years from the date of purchase with a valid receipt. Oakley’s warranty program does not cover scratched lenses. Additionally, any alterations of Oakley products (i.e. sunglasses fit with non-Oakley prescription lenses) will void warranty coverage. For all prescription warranty claims, please contact the Authorized Oakley Dealer from which your purchase was made.

OAKLEY'S GOGGLE WARRANTY POLICY

Oakley goggles are guaranteed from defects in workmanship and manufacturer materials and have a limited life-time manufacturer’s warranty. This limited warranty is valid only to the original purchaser with a proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer that clearly shows the purchase details.

The Oakley warranty does not cover any defects due to improper use, improper repair, physical damage, neglect & improper fit. Furthermore any alteration of the product will void warranty.

Your exclusive remedy for breach of warranty will be the repair or replacement of the item as determined by Oakley. This warranty does not affect the legal rights of customers under applicable state or national laws governing the sales of consumer goods.

APPAREL

APPAREL WARRANTY POLICY

All Oakley apparel, except Technical Outerwear & Gloves are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 100 days from the date of purchase. Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer. The Oakley warranty program does not cover any defects due to improper fit. Alteration of Oakley products will void warranty.

TECHNICAL OUTERWEAR WARRANTY POLICY

Oakley Technical Outerwear is warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer. The Oakley warranty program does not cover any defects due to accidents, improper fit, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use, rips, tears, holes, burns, pilling, and shrinking. Any alteration of the product will void warranty.

This warranty does not affect the legal rights of customers under applicable state or national laws governing the sales of consumer goods.

OAKLEY GLOVE WARRANTY POLICY

All Oakley gloves are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 100 days from the date of purchase. Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer. ACCESSORIES

OAKLEY ACCESSORY WARRANTY POLICY

All Oakley accessories, except Oakley bags, watches, and helmets are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 100 days from the date of purchase. The Oakley warranty program does not cover any defects due to improper fit. Alteration of Oakley products will void warranty.

OAKLEY BAG WARRANTY POLICY

Oakley warrants Oakley bags against manufacturer defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase (clearly showing the purchase date and the name of the Authorized Oakley Dealer from which the item was purchased). The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, accident, abuse, or the normal breakdown of colors and materials.

Luggage damage incurred during airline handling is not covered by this warranty, and claims in such cases should be made directly with the airline.

WATCH WARRANTY POLICY

All authentic Oakley timepieces are warranted for two years from the date of purchase against manufacturer’s defects. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Timepiece Dealer.

As of January 1st, 2020, we are no longer processing claims & repairs as they have passed the accepted warranty time frame of 2 years against manufacturing defects and the "Walk In" repair service is not available.

HELMET WARRANTY POLICY

Oakley goggles and helmets are guaranteed from defects in workmanship and manufacturer materials and has a limited life-time manufacturer’s warranty. This limited warranty is valid only to the original purchaser with a proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer that clearly shows the purchase details. The Oakley warranty does not cover any defects due to improper use, improper repair, physical damage, neglect & improper fit.

FOOTWEAR

FOOTWEAR WARRANTY POLICY

All Oakley footwear is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 100 days from the date of purchase. Warranty is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Dealer. Manufacturer’s defects will be determined at Oakley Inc.’s Discretion. Improper fit is not valid criteria for warranty. Misuse, abuse or alteration of product voids warranty. Valid claims will receive credit toward exchange of the Oakley footwear This warranty does not apply to shoes used outside of the United States. The applicable warranty for such shoes is the warranty given for the shoes sold in the country of use. Warranty claims are to be made through the Authorized Oakley dealer where purchased.

OAKLEY FOOTWEAR WARRANTY: WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Even though the applicable warranty period may not have expired, certain conditions may invalidate Oakley warranty coverage. Oakley will not issue replacement product or credit for returned shoes that have experienced excessive wear. Including the following but not exclusive to the following.

  1. Any type of abuse or mistreatments.

  2. Excessive damage/scuffing to upper caused by toe drag.

  3. Damage to upper leather caused by lack of proper maintenance.

  4. Damaged spike receptacles caused by using non-Oakley replacement spikes.

HOW DO I MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?

In-Store Warranty and Repair

The retailer from which your purchase was made offers in-store warranty and repair services for selected eyewear styles. When you arrive to the store, please have the following:

  1. The damaged or defective eyewear.

  2. Valid proof of purchase or email address of the registered eyewear

  • Confirms the date of purchase for warranty coverage

  • Confirms you purchased from an Oakley Authorized Dealer

  • Unfortunately, without a valid form of proof of purchase the warranty is not valid. We may have other options for you, please visit your local Oakley Store for more details.
